Delta Upgrades JFK Sky Clubs
I've written here before about how badly Delta wants to "win" New York - and the biggest example of late is how the Atlanta-based carrier plans to dump Terminal 3 at JFK and replace it.
But in the meantime, the carrier has just completed an upgrade of its Sky Clubs at JFK to include full bar and cafe service. While the clubs were providing complimentary snacks and beverages in the past, some travelers were seeking some moreĀ fulfillingĀ meal options. So now the clubs will be offering breakfasts made to order along with sandwiches, salads, and other items.
This is a good move, especially since food options onboard flights aren't what they used to be. Plus, this brings Sky Clubs more in line with lounges of other international airlines that tend to offer more substantial meal choices than one might find in US domestic lounges.
